Metal coilTransport Guidelines and Minimum Requirements

According to the surveyor's calculations and experience, the following guidelines are issued for the scope of damage prevention and the risk of minor omissions in Container.

General rules:

The weight distribution of the coil is1.5 m per beamEqual toMaximum.5m. t/m.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may lead to serious accidents; andContainerAnd damage to the contents.

1.The coil droops on the floor-

2. Look at the bottom of the container-

When the coil is stored, the shaft points to the end of the container

1. The weight of the coil is always distributed to the maximum of 1.5 meters per beam.5m. t/m.

2. In order to distribute the weight of the coils, they should be stored on wooden support slats.Except for coils less than 3m. t, the lowest point of coils shall notContact with the ground.The length of the support strip shall not exceed 60 cm of the width (length) of the coil.

3. For coils less than 3m. tLath may not be required, but in any case lateral wedging must be provided in addition to the cushion blocks specified in 5.

4. Weight of coil, dimensions and widths of support slats

A.Square less than 5m. t 15x15cm 1.2 m

B.5-9m. t square 15x15cm

C.9-12m. t square 20x20cm

D.Square over 12m. t 30x30cm

5. Use 10x10cm slats (square size) to pad half the height of the coils for binding, and at least 3 pieces of each coil are supported to the sides of the Container.The bow and stern are also nailed to the stern slats used to place the coils with 10x10cm padding.

6. Please note that due to the limited breaking strength of the binding eye at the bottom of the side of the Container (about 1.5 m t), the rope binding may not be sufficient.

3.CoilStore at equal intervals over the length of the container.

4. Apply sufficient cushion blocks between one third of the height of the coil and the side of the container.Refer to above, see A.4.

5. It is very important to use 10x10cm padding to plug the gaps between the coils and/or at the end of the Container to prevent the coils from rolling during road or rail transportation.
